Funeral Services for Isaac Matthew Thomas will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 5, 2022, officiated by Deacon Scott Payton. Interment will follow at Te Mamou Cemetery.

Isaac Matthew Thomas, 24, was born on April 15, 1998, in Ville Platte to Guy and Shanna Thomas. Isaac was the light of his family’s life and loved kisses from his momma. He taught others how to give and receive unconditional love. Isaac was extremely observant and kept everybody on their toes. He found great joy in watching the Minions and Sponge Bob while enjoying a cold Coke and a bag of Funyuns.

Survivors include his parents, Guy and Shanna Thomas of Bayou Chicot; three brothers, Andrew Thomas and wife, Olivia of Grand Prairie, Jake Thomas of Bayou Chicot, Cole Thomas and fiancé, Madi of Bayou Chicot; paternal grandparents, Tommy and Brenda Thomas of Bayou Chicot; three aunts, Dawn Thomas Hardy and husband, Anthony  of Bunkie, Laurie Acosta and husband, Rodney of Ville Platte, and Kara Thomas of Bayou Chicot; and Uncle Kane Thomas of Bayou Chicot; and two nieces, Bella and Adalai Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Isaac Cormier; great grandmother, Mable Fuselier; and cousin, Jordan Aucoin.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 pm.
