Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Pearl Duos,88, will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 at 1pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Mrs. Duos, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at 2:05am in Ville Platte Medical Center. She was a sales representative for World Book Encyclopedia for 25 years.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Clay Duos and his wife, Kay of Eunice; two daughters, Annette Johnson and husband, Mike of Ville Platte and Mitzie Cochrane and husband, David of Haughton, La; seven grandchildren, Coby Johnson, Paul Johnson, Caroline Duos, Claire Duos, Natalie Duos, Maureen Wilkinson, and Marissa Denis; five great grandchildren and six step grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clabert Duos and a grandchild, Roxanna Denis.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 11, 2007 from 9am until 9pm and on Monday from 8am until time of services. A Catholic Daughters rosary will be recited at 6pm on Sunday.
