Ville Platte - Funeral services for Winfield LeCoq, 69, will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at 1pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery.

Winfield, a resident of Ville Platte, died Saturday, May 10, 2008

Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Carrol LeCoq of Ville Platte; one son, Bill LeCoq and wife, Pauline; one daughter, Stephanie LeCoq of Ville Platte; one brother, Leroy LeCoq of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Inez Serio of Morganza and Hilda Vosburg of Morganza; and three grandchildren, Sophie LeCoq, Cole LeCoq, and Alex Fontenot all of Ville Platte.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Dolcy LeCoq; two brothers, Clarence LeCoq and Floyd LeCoq; and two sisters, Wilma Catlett and Audrey Spillers.

Family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, May 12, 2008 from 12pm until 10pm and on Tuesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited 6:30 pm Monday.
