TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Turkey Creek on Monday, September 3, 2018 for Muriel Virginia Aday, 68, who passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 in Forest Hill, LA.
Eddie Douglas, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in the McCormick Cemetery in Turkey Creek, LA.
Virginia Aday was born on April 8, 1950 to Herbert and Zonnie Messer. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Virginia was an exceptional caregiver and a great mother to everyone. She led by example. Family and friends would always confide in her because she was an excellent listener and would never tell anyone's secrets. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Conway Aday and wife Merisha Aday of Pineville and James Everett Aday, of Katy TX.; grandchildren, Jacob Aday and wife Chelsea of Fort Sill, OK., Bre-Anna Aday of Fairbanks, AK, Maxwell Aday of Pineville, Joshlyn Aday of Katy, TX and Kelby Aday of Katy, TX; brothers, David Messer of Turkey Creek , Harvey Messer of Turkey Creek, and Odell Messer of Glenmora; sisters, Helen Hebert of Turkey Creek and Bonnie Dixon of Cabot, AK, lifelong friend, Wanda Graves of Forest Hill; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by loving husband; James R. Aday, son Herbert Dewey Aday; parents, Herbert and Zonnie Messer; sisters, Cynthia Messer and Maggie Chaddrick; and one brother Ervin Messer.
The family requests that visitation be observed at Trinity Baptist Church in Turkey Creek on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
