Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Virgie Soileau, 86 announces her passing on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the B.J. Fontenot Cemetery with Bro. Benji Richard officiating.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and greatgreat grandmother, Virgie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jimmy Fontenot of Lake Charles daughter, Delores Dee Fontenot and husband, Ray of Port Barre two sisters, Odette Landreneau of Ville Platte and Amie Pearl Benoit of Lake Charles eight grandchildren, twentyfour great grandchildren, and three greatgreat grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Joseph Soileau parents, Sammy and Cammile Veillon sister, Melande Vidrine, and a grandchild, Troy Fontenot.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, April 19, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
