Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Vergie Lee Clark, 78, will be held Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 10:30am in Church of Christ in Turkey Creek. Burial will follow in the Turkey Creek Cemetery. Bro. David Johnson will officiate the services.

Mrs. Clark, a native of Turkey Creek and a resident of New Hope, Mn, died Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 11:05am in North Ridge Nursing Home in Mn.

Survivors include her son, Len Clark and wife, Gracie of Bridge City, Tx; her daughter, Ann Powers of New Hope, Mn.; one brother, Curtis D. Thibodeaux and wife, Lou Ann of Moss Bluff; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard D. Clark and a brother, Cladie Thibodeaux.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in the church from 2pm until 10pm and on Thursday from 8am until time of services.
