Ville Platte Funeral services for Ury Tate Duos, 80 will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 10am in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoluem.

Ms. Duos, a resident of Ville Platte, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Ville Platte Medical Center at 7:20am.

A loving mother, grandmother, and sister she is survived by two daughters, Sandra Duos of Ville Platte and Celia Duos Halbert and husband, Steve of Cheneyville; two sisters, Una T. Fontenot and Lou Guillory both of Ville Platte; five grandchildren, Angela F. Daspit, Scott Fontenot, Todd Halbert, Adam Halbert, and Andrew Halbert; and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Duos and a great grandson, Matthew Daspit.

Family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, June 20, 2008 from 11am until 9pm and again on Saturday from 8am until time of services. A Catholic Daughter rosary will be recited at 1:30pm Friday and another rosary will be held at 7pm Friday.
