PINE PRAIRIEIt is with great sadness that the family of Tonya Janae Delafosse, 36, the former Tonya Ardoin, announces her passing on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Savoy Medical Center of Mamou. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Pine Prairie Church of Christ. Burial will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery of Pine Prairie with Minister Jonathan Johnson officiating the services.
A devoted wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter and sister Tonya leaves behind her loving husband of thirteen years, Steve Delafosse of Pine Prairie and their three beloved children: Kayla and Kasie Crawford and Trenton Delafosse. She will most certainly be missed by her adoring parents, Robert Ardoin of Evergreen and Dori Redfern of Atlanta and her grandparents, Burnell and Maxine Gautreau of Pine Prairie. Also left behind to mourn her loss, are her siblings: Tina Ardoin Weiler of Atlanta, GA. and Nick Ardoin of Texas.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at the Pine Prairie Church of Christ beginning at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 and will continue until the time of the services Wednesday.
