aligncenterVille Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Soileau, 76 announces her passing on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Grand Prairie with Fr. Melancon Celebrant.

A loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, Theresa will be lovingly missed by her three sons, James Jimmy Soileau and wife, Cheryl of Ville Platte, Robert Soileau of Ville Platte, and Louis Soileau and wife, Libby of Gismar; two daughters, Beverly S. Johnson and husband, Dale of Turkey Creek and Helen S. Dupre and husband, Randell of Gismar; one brother, Beb Vidrine of Port Barre; three sisters, Anna Belle Deville of Mamou, Dean Fontenot of Chataignier, and Mary Ann Vidrine of Ville Platte; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lenis Soileau; parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Vidrine; and one great grandchild, Andrew Lee Johnson.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, April 6, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday.
