VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Theophile Guillory, 88 announces his passing on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. A Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie with Fr. Richard Broussard Celebrant.

A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Theophile will be lovingly remembered by his two sons, Stacy Guillory of Denham Springs and Jimmy Guillory and special friend Lois Whiteheal of Walker, two stepsons Kerry Fontenot and Warren Fontenot both of Pine Prairie, one daughter Loretta Patterson and husband Jim of Plaquamine, fifteen grandchildren, Paige Blanchard, Jim Patterson, Lisa Lott, Wendy Henderson, Joey Guillory, Tina McFarlin, Raymond Guillory, Travis Guillory, John Guillory, George Guillory, Fonda Nacio, Kristie Ardoin, Nicole Fontenot, Cory Johnson and Casey Johnson, and 27 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alibe and Edna Guillory, his wife Rose Manuel Guillory, his daughter Cherry Johnson, his sister Murdes Manuel and his brother Hersey Guillory.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Saturday, April 25, 2009 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
