VILLE PLATTE – Funeral Services will be held at a 1:30 PM Mass of Christian Burial, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, for Terryl Wayne Guillory, 68, who passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021.

Father Mitch Guidry, pastor of Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and conduct services.

Burial will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Terryl Wayne Guillory was born on October 14, 1952, in Grand Prairie, LA to Arduce and Lucille DeBaillon Guillory.  He was an honorary member of the Ville Platte Lyons Club.  Terryl loved cooking, watching westerns, and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his nephew, Charles "Charlie" Williams and wife Angie of New Iberia; two nieces, Rachel Rider and husband, Tony of Ville Platte and Stephanie Rider and husband, Brent of Abbeville; four great nephews and three great nieces; 10 great-great nieces and nephews; and his two dear friends, Diane Fontenot and Mike Fontenot.

He is preceded in death parents, Arduce and Lucille DeBaillon Guillory; infant brother; his brother, Joseph Louis "J.L." Guillory; and sister-in-law, Aimee Joyce Guillory.

At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte of Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM.  A rosary will be recited at 12:30 PM on Wednesday.
