VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Terrell Jean Fontenot, 61, announces his passing Terrell left this world peacefully Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Savoy Medical Center of Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at The Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church of Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in The Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Fr. Brian Harrington as Celebrant.

A devoted brother, uncle and loyal friend, Terrell leaves behind a brother, Lee Fontenot of Opelousas and a sister, Nell Rider of Ville Platte. His memory will be fondly recalled by his nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends for years to come. Terrell is now with his Savior but his legacy will live on through kind and heartfelt stories that will be recalled by those whom were lucky enough to have walked with him on his journey through this life.

He will now reunite in Heaven with his beloved parents, Simon and Luta F. Fontenot and his brother, Joseph Fontenot their reunion will surely be a joyous occasion.

At the request of the Fontenot family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 4:00 PM Tuesday, July 01, 2014 and will continue until 9:30 PM that evening and again at 8:00 AM Wednesday morning. A Rosary will be recited in Terrells honor Tuesday evening at 6:00 PM.
