Funeral services for Tanya Ann McDaniel, 44, will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 1pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Ms. McDaniel, a resident of Opelousas and a native of Ville Platte, died February 11, 2007 in Opelousas Medical Center.

Survivors include her father, Donald McDaniel of Ville Platte; two sons, Joseph D. Horaist, Jr. of Church Point and Jake D. Horaist of Natchitoches; and one brother, Michael Todd McDaniel of Ville Platte.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rita McDaniel.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 from 12pm until 10pm and on Tuesday from 9am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Monday.
