Pine Prairie Funeral services for Mr. Steve Allen Lafleur, 59, will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 4 p.m. in Friendship Baptist Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Kevin West will officiate the services.

Mr. Lafleur, a resident of Pine Prairie, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at 10:50 p.m. in Savoy Medical Center in Mamou. He was owner of the Pine Cone Restaurant in Pine Prairie, was also a Boat Captain for 35 years, and was a member of the Bayou Chicot Masonic Lodge 430.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Marie Lafleur of Pine Prairie; two sons, Wesley Guidroz of Lake Charles and Richard Dickie Guidroz, and wife, JoAnn of Pine Prairie; four brothers, Curtis Lafleur of Eunice, Junior Lafleur, Jules Lafleur and Donald Lafleur all of Pine Prairie; one sister, Mary Taylor of Pine Prairie; five grandchildren, Krystal Collins, Derrick Guidroz, Lacey Guidroz, Hailey Guidroz, and Hayden Guidroz and two great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph R. Hazel Lafleur; one brother, Joseph E. Lafleur, and a granddaughter, Harley Storm Guidroz.

Visitation will be held at Friendship Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday.
