Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Silton J. Ardoin, 74, will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 10am in the Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Ardoin, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Ville Platte, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Baton Rouge. He retired from LSU Accounting Services of Baton Rouge and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served in the Korean War.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Burke and husband, Joe of Torbert and Veronica Vicki Brown of Zachary; two sisters, Willie Dean Manuel and Cecile Dowell both of Ville Platte; five grandchildren, Shawn Berg, Joel Burke, Matt Brown, Priscilla Brown and Clay Brown; and two great grandchildren, Kimberly and MaKayla. He is also survived by Lola Ardoin of Torbert.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ardoin; parents, Arole and Alex Ardoin; and one brother, Elvin Ardoin.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 from 3pm-9pm and on Tuesday, from 8am until time of services.
