Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley S. Roberts, 93, will be held Monday, August 13, 2007 at 1pm in Calvary Baptist Church in Bayou Chicot. Burial will follow in the Vandenburg Cemetery. Bro. Leon Terrell and Bro. Kyle Coates will officiate the services.

Mrs. Roberts, a resident of New Roads, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:15am in Pointe Coupee Health Care.

Survivors include a son, Jesse J. Roberts, Jr. and wife, Kim of Duson; a daughter Anne Derbes of Prairieville; five grandchildren, Candace Copeland, Cameron Manis, Jamie Roberts, Conner Roberts, and Keller Roberts; and six great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse J. Roberts, Sr.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 13, 2007 from 10am until time of services at the church.
