Pine Prairie Senia Louis Guillory, an 82 year old resident of upper Pine Prairie, died Tuesday afternoon, September 7, 2010 at his home following a battle with cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery in Pine Prairie with Fr. Richard Broussard Celebrant.
Senia will be remembered as a loving father and faithful friend by all who knew and loved him. Senia Louis Guillory is survived by his two daughters, Sherry Guillory Smith and Joan Guillory Bergeron both of upper Pine Prairie three sons, Winston Guillory of upper Pine Prairie, Steve Guillory and wife, Ola of Turkey Creek, and KVPIs Randy Guillory and wife, Jackie of Pine Prairie one sister, Lena Andrus of upper Pine Prairie three brothers, Aswell Guillory of upper Pine Prairie, Ellson Guillory of Lone Pine, and Edward Guillory of upper Pine Prairie and his very special friend, Ethel Fontenot of Pine Prairie twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
He now rest in Heaven with is beloved wife, Evelyn G. Guillory brothers, Ellis Guillory, Leonard Guillory, and Howard Guillory and sisters, Elsie Granger, Luna Leger, and Sedonia Guillory.
The family request that visiting hours be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
