VILLE PLATTE-The family of Sandra Gail Fontenot announces her passing on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Opelousas General surrounded by her loved ones.

Sandra Gail Fontenot was born in Ville Platte, LA on July 17, 1954 to Allen Sylvester, Jr. and Betty Jane Fontenot Sylvester.

She is survived by loving husband of 47 years, Wayne Fontenot; daughters, Laura Fontenot, Melissa Fontenot, Debra Fontenot, Ashley Fontenot; son, Michael Fontenot; grandchildren, Brooklyn Hoyt, Dylan Hoyt, Coby Hartzfelds, Summer Hartzfelds, Zack Hartzfelds, Carson Johnson, Carmon Johnson, and Maddie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Jonathon Guillory and Khloe Hoyt; brother, Charlie Sylvester; and sisters, Sue Ortego, Faye Sylvester, Charlene Kyeer, and Christine Green.

She is preceded in death by her parents Allen Sylvester, Jr. and Betty Jane Fontenot Sylvester.
