Ville Platte Funeral services for Ruby Thompson, 86, will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 1pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Fr. Michael Delcambre will officiate the services.

Mrs. Thompson, a resident of Ville Platte, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at 2:25am at Ville Platte Medical Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Tanya Thompson Guillory and husband, Luke of Ville Platte; two sisters, Nazel Guillory and Luna McDaniel both of Ville Platte; three grandchildren, Farrah Guillory, Marcus Guillory, and Luke Guillory; and one great grandchild, Baylee Guillory.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Thompson.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 7, 2007 from 2pm 10pm and on Tuesday from 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Monday.
