Ville Platte It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ruby Ardoin, 84 announces her passing on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery with Fr. Clinton Sensat Celebrant.
Ruby a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Calvin Ardoin of Ville Platte two daughters, Janell Fontenot of Ville Platte and Peggy McDaniel and husband, Mason of Baton Rouge two brothers, Allen Ortego and Huey Ortego both of Ville Platte four sisters, Sylvia Veillon and Jane Courville both of New Iberia, Patsy Dupre of Plasaince, and Bernetta Lafleur of Ville Platte six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She now rest in Heaven with her parents, Norbert Lee and Emelise Ortego, a grandson, Christopher McDaniel, and soninlaw, Clyde Fontenot.
