Roy Fontenot

VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Roy Stephen Fontenot, 58, announces his passing on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley. The Fontenot family will be celebrating Roys life in a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother Roy leaves behind his loving wife, Rachel K. Saucier Fontenot of Ville Platte. He will be deeply missed by his four children: Joey Paul Fontenot, Eric Todd Fontenot, Mark Anthony Fontenot and Samantha Nicole Harris, all of Bastrop, La. Roy also leaves behind three stepchildren: Hayley Johnson of Mamou, Morgan Chapman and Allison Chapman, both of Ville Platte. He is survived by three brothers: Carl Fontenot of Ville Platte, David Fontenot of Point Blue and Don Fontenot of Oakdale. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his six grandchildren and six stepgrandchildren they were truly the light of his life. Roy was an avid outdoorsman he loved to spend his spare time camping and hunting with his close friends and family.
He will now join in Heaven his beloved parents, Leroy and Rose Buller Fontenot they await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
