Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Travis Douglas, 72, announces his passing on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Arkansas, his home state.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, Roy leaves behind his loving wife, Maureen Sylvester Douglas, two daughters: Diann Douglas and Donna Fascio and his brother, Troy Douglas. Also left behind to cherish his memory are three grandchildren they were truly the light of his life.
He now joins in Heaven his beloved parents: Fay and Retha Knight Douglas. They await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
