VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Rosa Fontenot Buller, 74, announces her passing on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October11, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow in the TeMamou Cemetery in Ville Platte with Fr. Richard Vidrine as Celebrant.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother, Rosa leaves behind her beloved husband of fifty six years, Rodney A. Buller, two sons: Charles Buller of Pine Prairie and Benny Buller and his wife, Yvette, of Ville Platte, two daughters: Sarah Attales and her husband, Mitch, also of Pine Prairie and Gwen Buller of Lafayette. Her memory will be cherished by her nine grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren they were the absolute light of her life. She was a dedicated nurse at Maison de Sante Nursing Home, now known as Heritage Manor Nursing Home, for over twenty five years.
She now joins in Heaven her parents, George and Katherine McDaniel Fontenot they await her arrival with open arms.
At the request of the family, visitation will take place at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte, Monday, October 10, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM that evening. A Rosary will be recited at 7:15 PM Monday. The parlor will reopen at 7:00 AM Tuesday, October 11, 2011 and remain so until time of services.
