PINE PRAIRIE It is with great sadness that the family of Roderick Paul Bolfa, 46, announces his passing on Monday, April 18, 2011 at his residence. A Funeral of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Deacon Gene LeBouef as celebrant.
A loving husband, father, son and brother, Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kelly Bolfa of Pine Prairie, his children, Ryan Fontenot and his wife, Tabby of Bayou Chicot, Caleb Vervalin of Pine Prairie and Sarah Vervalin of Elizabeth. He also leaves behind his parents, Ferril Bolfa and his wife, Della, of Bayou Chicot and Amrella Dupre and her husband, Herbert, of Phoenix, Arizona and his siblings: Chad Dupre and his wife, Mel, of Phoenix, Arizona, Ferril Bolfa Jr. of Bayou Chicot and Brenda Fontenot and her husband, Joey, of Ville Platte.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 8:00 AM until time of services.
