Ville PlatteIt is with great sadness that the family of Robert West, 80 announces his passing on Friday, April 12, 2013 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 3:00 pm on Monday,April 15, 2013 at Our Lady Queen Of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Father Mitchell Guidry as Celebrant.
Robert was retired from the United States Air Force, serving two tours of duty in Veitnam. He retired with over 20 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and gardener
A loving brother, cousins and friends, Robert will be lovingly remembered by his brother Lionel West of Ville Platte .
The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, April 15, 2012 from 9:00 am until until time of services. A Rosary will be recited at 2:30 pm Monday afternoon
In leiu of flowers donations may be made to: Friends of the Library on West Main Street in Ville Platte.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Barbara West.
