Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Guillory, 76, will be held Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 2pm at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Fr. Jason Vidrine will officiate the services.

Mr. Guillory, a resident of Ville Platte, died Wednesday, November 28, 2006 at 2:25 at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Duplechain Guillory of Ville Platte; four daughters, Shirley Guillory of Ville Platte, Jean Guillory Bordelon and husband, Ernest of Bayou Chicot, Debbie Guillory Blood and husband, David of Ville Platte, and Janice Guillory Fontenot and husband, Mark of Ville Platte; two brothers, Rodney Guillory and Alfred Guillory both of Leesville; one sister, Kathleen Houle of Arizona; sixteen grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2006 beginning at 11am until time of services on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Wednesday.

He is preceded in death by a son, Kenneth James Guillory and his parents, Alphan and Auxee Guillory.

Mr.Guillory retired with the United States Army after 20 years of service having served in the Vietman War. He also worked 10 years in the Ville Platte Post Office.
