VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ray Neil Stagg, 56, announces his passing on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2 PM at Chapel of Resurrection Catholic Church in Whiteville. Burial will follow in the Chapel of Resurrection Catholic Church Cemetery with Father Mike Guidry officiating.

A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Neil will be greatly missed by his wife of 11 years, Phyllis Guillory Stagg of Whiteville, son, Dusty Raymond Stagg and wife Amanda of Whiteville, daughters, Kellie Trahan and husband Shane of Grand Prairie, Kasey Stagg Johnson and husband Buckey of Point Blue and Kimberly Stagg Guidry and husband Koby of Vidrine, brother, Ricky Stagg and wife Phyllis of Whiteville, sisters, Sandy Stagg Morein and husband Todd of Whiteville, Vicki Stagg of Whiteville and Heidi Fontenot Kingston and husband Gregg of Lafayette. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his grandchildren: Kali Stagg, Jozie Stagg, Logan Guillory, Alayna Guillory, Kaylee Johnson, Jack Johnson, Elouise Johnson, Sawyer Guidry, Austin Bruchhaus, Reese White, Creed Linderman, Lakyn Fontenot and step children: Eric Bruchhaus and wife Jeannee, Lindsay Bruchhaus Linderman, Shelby Bruchhaus Fontenot and husband Kyle Fontenot.

Neil will now reunite in Heaven with his parents, Norris and Dessie Stagg.

At the request of the Stagg family, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 4 PM until 9 PM and will reopen again on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 7 AM. A rosary will be prayed in Mr. Stagg's honor on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 1 PM at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte.
