Funeral services for Mr. Raphael Soileau, 89, will be held Saturday, February 2, 2007 at 10:30am in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery.

Mr. Soileau, a resident of Ville Platte, died Friday, February 02, 2007 at 4am in Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie. He retired from Cabot Corporation.

Survivors include one son, James Maynard Soileau of Maurice; one step son, David Ortego of Eunice; two step daughters, Susan Roberie of Mamou and Cynthia Ortego of Vidrine; two brothers, Herman Soileau of Ville Platte and Donald Soileau of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Isabelle Vidrine, Lucille Guillory, and Evelyn Fontenot all of Ville Platte and Stella Mayeaux of Jennings; two step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday 4pm until 10pm and on Saturday 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Friday.
