VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Prudence Vidrine Fontenot, 83, announces her passing on Friday, September 02, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 03, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at the M B Fontenot Cemetery in Ville Platte with Fr. Garrett McIntyre as Celebrant.
A loving wife and sister, Prudence is survived by her beloved husband, Jessie M. Fontenot and her devoted sister, Gussie V. Fontenot.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Enie Vidrine.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte beginning at 4:00 PM Friday, September 02, 2011 until 9:00 PM that evening and to resume at 8:00 AM Saturday, September 03, 2011 until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 5:00 PM.
