Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Prudence Daire, 82 will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Daire a loving mother and grandmother died Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home.

Survivors include one son, John Carroll Daire of Ville Platte, one daughter, Pam Maggio and husband Thomas of Ville Platte, and three grandchildren, Brian, Wendy and Matthew Maggio all of Ville Platte.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raphael J. Daire, her parents, Hammy and Elda Ortego, three sisters Numa Morien, Ruby Crane, and Merline Doughton and two brothers, Frank Ortego and Jimmy Ortego.

The family request that visiting hours be on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday
