Pine Prairie It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Philip Harold Barzare announces his passing on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. He was 71 years old. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the Ortego Cemetery with Fr. Richard Broussard Celebrant.
Philip will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved him especially his beloved wife of 51 years, Betty Jane Barzare the former Betty Jane Morein of Baton Rouge two daughters, Elizabeth Shea and husband, Tim of Baton Rouge and Phyllis Crayton and husband, Ben of Ponchatoula one brother, Terrell Barzare of Benton, La and five grandchildren, Brittany and Lauren Shea and Catherine, Justin, Jeremy Crayton.
He now rest in Heaven with his parents, Philip and Olive Barzare.
The family request visiting hours to be observed at Ardoins Funeral Home Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday afternoon.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
