VILLE PLATTE It is with great sadness that the family of Percy J. Soileau, 91, announces his passing on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery of Ville Platte Fr. Mitchell Guidry will officiate the services.
Percy, a devoted father, father inlaw, grandfather and great grandfather, leaves behind his three sons: Robley Soileau of Denham Springs, Kenneth Soileau of Marquette, MI. and Dale Soileau of Ville Platte. He will also be sadly missed by his daughterinlaw, Belva Soileau of Ville Platte. His memory will most certainly be cherished by his ten grandchildren and his twelve great grandchildren they were the light of his life.
He now joins in Heaven his loving wife, Femie B. Soileau, his son, Roderick, his parents, Adeuse and Florence D. Soileau, and his four brothers, Allen, Alton, Donald and Merteon. They await his arrival with open arms and joyous hearts.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 11:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2012 and continue until 10:00 PM that evening. A Rosary will be recited in his honor at 6:00 PM Friday evening. Visitation will continue Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 8:00 AM until the time of the service.
