Ville Platte Funeral services for Mr. Otis Fontenot, 89, will be held Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3pm in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Mausoleum. Fr. Neil McNeil will officiate the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 7:55pm at his residence. He was a veteran of W.W.II having served in the U.S. Army and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.

Survivors include his wife, Rosabelle F. Fontenot of Ville Platte; one son, Bryan Fontenot and wife, Cenevieve of Mamou; four grandchildren, Richard Fontenot and wife, Rhonda, Marcus Fontenot, Tiffiny Fontenot, and Neal Fontenot and wife, Shelly; and eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alcibade and Alma Fontenot.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 3pm until 10pm and on Friday from 7:30 am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Thursday.
