Pine Prairie Funeral services for Mr. Ollie L. Johnson, Jr., 91, will be held Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 10am in the First Baptist Church in Pine Prairie. Burial will follow in the Ardoin Cemetery in Easton. Pastors Jeff Johnson and Roger Whittington will officiate the services.

Mr. Johnson, a resident and native of Pine Prairie, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 2:41pm at his residence following a long illness.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Dorothy Ardoin Johnson of Pine Prairie; two sons, Ollie L. Johnson, III and wife, Susan of Westlake and Timothy Johnson of Port Barre; two daughters, Phyllis Johnson Bank and husband, M.R. of Lafayette and Cheryl Johnson Whiddon and husband, Edward of Houston, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 12pm until 10pm in the Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel and on Thursday from 8am until time of services.
