VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Odette V. Landreneau,85, announces her passing on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ville Platte. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery with Fr. Mario Romero as Celebrant.
A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister, Odette is survived by her two sons, Terral Young of Ville Platte and Robert Landreneau of Sulphur. She also leaves behind a daughter, Patricia Romero of Duson and one sister, Pearl Ashwood of Lake Charles but she will be greatly missed by
her pride and joy, her seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four greatgreat grandchildren.
Odette was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Landreneau and two sisters, Mellion Vidrine and Virgie Soileau.
At the request of the family, visitation will held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Monday, August 29, 2011 beginning at 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 8:00 AM continuing until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:30 PM.
