Funeral services for Mr. Norris Glenn Stagg, 72, will be held Friday, February 2, 2007 at 1:30pm in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Fr. Leger will officiate the services.

Mr. Stagg, a native of Whiteville and a resident of Ville Platte, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at his residence after a brief illness. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Joubert Stagg of Ville Platte; two sons, Ricky Stagg and wife, Phyllis Deshotel of Whiteville and Neil Stagg and wife, Phyllis Guillory of Whiteville; three daughters, Vicky Stagg of Whiteville, Sandy Morein and husband, Todd of Ville Platte, and Heidi Fontenot of Lafayette; fourteen grandchildren, three step grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eloise Savant Stagg and a son in law, Troy Fontenot.

Visitation will held Thursday, February 1, 2007 from 10am until 12pm and on Friday 7am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Thursday.
