Funeral services for Neva G. Siffert, 79, will be held Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 11am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Cemetery. Fr. Gene Tremie will officiate the services.

Ms. Siffert, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of St. Landry, died Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 12:45pm in the Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.

Survivors include three sons, Mark Siffert, Philip Siffert wife, Jan, and Jacques Siffert all of St. Landry; one daughter, Anna S. Moran of St. Landry; one brother, Bertholin Bat Guillory of Ville Platte; three sisters, Adele Ardoin of Deridder, Rita Emmons of Parks, and Anna Lee Siffert of St. Landry; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2006 from 11am until time of services on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:30pm on Wednesday.

Ms. Siffert is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Siffert.
