VILLE PLATTE Funeral services for Mr. Nasen Joseph Fontenot, Sr., 86, will be held Monday, February 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Burial will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Masoleum.

Mr. Fontenot a resident of Ville Platte died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Savoy Medical Care Center in Mamou.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, he is survived by his wife Tonnie Belle Lafleur Fontenot of Ville Platte, two sons Nason Fontenot Jr. and wife Brnda of Ville Platte and John Wayne Fontenot and wife Deeya of Lafayette, one sister Marjorie Shurban of Rockford, Illinois, and two grandchildren Benjamin Paul Fontenot and Jared Wesley Fontenot.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Corine Fontenot.

Family request that visiting hours be observed Sunday, February 08, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Monday, February 9, 2009 from 8:00 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited Sunday, February 08, 2009 at 6:00 PM.
