VILLE PLATTE- It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Myrtle Andree "Nee Nee" LeBas, 73, announces her passing on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Entombment will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum with Father Tom Voorhies, celebrant.
Andree was an employee of Evangeline Drug Store for over 25 years and was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
A loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Andree will be greatly missed by her daughter, Anita Andree Soileau and husband Eric of Ville Platte, brothers, Carlyle LeBas and wife Wylla of Austin, TX., Bernard LeBas and wife Charlotte of Ville Platte, Peter LeBas and wife Rachel of Ville Platte, sisters, Jacqueline LeBas of Ville Platte, Adelaide Dupre of Opelousas, sister-in-law, Janet LeBas of Ville Platte and granddaughter, Mallory Cecile Soileau.
Andree now rests in Heaven with her parents, Harvey and Myrtle Bordelon LeBas and brothers, Cecil and Frankie LeBas.
At the request of the LeBas family, a visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Ville Platte from 2 PM until 9 PM and will reopen Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 8 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed in Ms. LeBas' honor Wednesday evening at 6 PM.
