VILLE PLATTE Funeral services for Mrs. Maryline Fontenot, 67, will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 2 PM at Our Lady Queen of all Saints Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Old Ville Platte Cemetery. Father Mario Romero will officiate the service.

Mrs. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.

She is survived by one son Joseph Shawn Fontenot of Ville Platte, one stepson Harold Fontenot of Ville Platte, two daughters Tammy Boots of Indiana and Michelle A. Smith of Ville Platte, one stepdaughter Margorie Fontenot of Ville Platte, and 8 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Zachary Fontenot, three brothers Chester Fontenot, Clavens Fontenot, and Lester Fontenot and two sisters Verline Barzas and Clay Teet Guillory.

The family request that visiting hours be Wednesday, September 10 from 8 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited Wednesday at 1 PM.
