Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 10am in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery. Msgr. Robert Romero will officiate the services.
Ms. Tullos, a native of Ville Platte and a resident of Lafayette, died September 27, 2006 at 1:40pm at her residence.
Survivors include three sons, John Cleveland Berzas of Abbeville, Matthias Matt Berzas of Ville Platte, and Dane Anthony Berzas of Ville Platte; three daughters, Sandra Marie Berzas Doxey of Dallas, Tx, Deborah Ann Berzas of Lafayette, and Mary Victoria Berzas Fruge of Long Beach, Ms; two sisters, Winnie B. Case of Shalimar, Fl and JoAnn Crumbling of Lafayette; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2006 from 12pm until 9pm and on Saturday 8am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Friday at 6pm.
Ms. Tullos is preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Cleveland Berzas and Jack Tullos and her parents, John O. and Aline Guillory.
She was employed for many years with Security Life Insurance Company, also known for her business as an Interior Decorator. She was know for coordinating and implementing the Council On Aging for eight parishes, Acadiana Executive Director from 1964-1976, coordinating Girl Scouts in Evangeline Parish, local city and parish clubs, board member of Louisiana State Aging Services, National Council of Senior Citizens, Evangeline Parish Lions Club Woman of the year.
