Mary Pherigo

VILLE PLATTE – A Graveside Service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bellwood, LA., at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021, for Mary L. Pherigo, 83, who passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, in Ville Platte, LA.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Fontenot and husband, Henry of Ville Platte; sons, Lynn Sparks and wife, Liz of Anahuac, TX, Steve Sparks and wife, Angie of Mount Belvieu, TX, and Jeff Sparks and wife, Kellie of Crosby, TX; seven grandchildren, Jace, Jake, Jacqueline, Wayne, Jonathon,  Jordan and Jeffery; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Sparks, parents, L.W. Blackledge and Edna Gilcrease Blackledge; two brothers; and two sisters.
