P aligncenter VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Vidrine, 76 will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11am in First Baptist Church in Ville Platte, La. Kevin West will officiate the services. Burial will follow in the Tee Mamou Cemetery.
Mrs. Vidrine, a resident of Ville Platte, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.

A loving mother and grandmother she is survived by 2 sons: James Vidrine and Kenneth Vidrine both of Bayou Chicot, 5 daughters: Jane Daire and Shirley Smith of Ville Platte, Gloria Vidrine of Lawtell, Carol Dauzat of Marksville, and Brenda Russell of Tate Cove, 6 sisters: Adenise Hebert of Ville Platte, Mary Guillory of Redell, Delores LeJeune of Eunice, Amy Dupre of Franklin, Joyce Blood of Pine Prairie, and Verna Webb of Channelview, Texas, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents Yourick and Emily Chapman and her husband Dudley Vidrine.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2008, from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 8:00 AM until time of service
