VILLE PLATTE A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ella Joubert Vidrine, 92, will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, May 6, 2013 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church of Ville Platte with Father Mitchell Guidry as Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow in The Old Ville Platte Cemetery.
Mrs. Vidrine passed away at her residence in Ville Platte. She leaves behind six children: Ramsey Vidrine of Baton Rouge, Carl Raymond Vidrine of Jackson, William Blane Vidrine of New Roads, Frank Michael Vidrine of Ville Platte, Jane Vidrine Duos of Ville Platte and Loretia Vidrine Coleman of Ball. She will be remembered by two siblings: Lovery Joubert of St. Francisville and Mary Ann Joubert Veillon of Ville Platte. Her memory will be cherished by her twenty grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren and twelve greatgreat grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Justine Vidrine and her parents, Herbert and Celise Johnson Joubert.
Visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home of Ville Platte beginning at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 5, 2013 and continue until 10:00 PM that evening. The parlor will reopen at 9:00 AM Monday morning and visitation will continue until the time of services. A Rosary will be recited in her honor at 6:30 PM Sunday evening.
