Ville Platte Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lou Charlie, 84, will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10:00am in Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Eternal Rest Cemetery. Fr. Neil McNeil will officiate the services.

Mrs. Charlie, a resident of Ville Platte, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 11:15pm in Opelousas General Health System.

Survivors include her son, Roger Charlie and his wife, Liz of Point Blue; four daughters, Mae Dupre and her husband, Verbis of Pine Prairie, Mary Lavergne and her husband, Sylvester of Ville Platte, Elta Richard and husband, Donald of Prairie Rhonde, and Eva Charlie of Plaisance; one sister, Bobbie Perron of Moss Bluff; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Charlie and a son, Frank Charlie.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 from 9:00am until 8:00pm and on Wednesday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00pm Tuesday.
