Pine Prairie It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Mary Grace Ardoin announces her passing on Monday, November 22, 2010 at the age of 79. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 26, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church in Pine Prairie. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Ville Platte.
Mary leaves behind a loving family that will cherish her memory forever in their hearts including her husband, Murray Polly Ardoin of Pine Prairie two sons, Steven Ardoin and wife, Evelyn of Vidrine and Tony Ardoin and wife, Theresa of Youngsville three daughters, Judith Rolon and husband, Orlando of Carencro, Tammy Villalobos and husband, Angel of Lafayette, and Sharon Ardoin of Youngsville one brother, Winston C. Fontenot of Pine Point and ten grandchildren, Sonja Ardoin, Josh Ardoin, Jerrad Rolon, Alex, Alisha, and Andrew Villalobos, Lindsey and Kristen Ardoin, Chance Doucet, and Megan Istre.
She now rests in Heaven with her parents, Jean Batiste and Evela Fontenot and a brother, Nelson Fontenot.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
