Ville Platte A loving mother and grandmother, Mable Lafleur who will always be remembered by those who knew and loved him died on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Mercy Regional Medical Center. She was 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.
Mable will be sadly missed by her loving son, Terry Lafleur and his wife, Glenda of Ville Platte five grandchildren, Steve Lafleur, Patti LeBas, Jamie Lafleur, Shelly Babin, and Lori Dupre and eight great grandchildren.
Now she rest in peace with her beloved husband, Due Lafleur her son, Ray Lafleur and her parents, Melancon and Bella Veillon.
At the request of the family visitation will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
The Lafleur family would like to give a special thanks to Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Mercy Regional Hospital, Louisiana Hospice, and Dr. Chuck Aswell for the compassion and caring during her time of need.
