Funeral services for Lucille McCoy, 90, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 1 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church in Bayou Chicot. Burial will follow in the Vandenburg Cemetery. Bro. Randy Ellis will officiate the services.

Ms. McCoy, a native of Bayou Chicot, died Saturday, January 17, 2009 in Lane Memorial Nursing Home in Zachary.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother she is survived by one son, Stanley McCoy, Jr. and wife, Janell of Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Matt McCoy and wife, Francis of Baton Rouge and Bliss Broyles and husband, Ted of Baton Rouge; one great grandchild; and two great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley McCoy, Sr.

Family request that visiting hours be observed in Ardoins Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 23, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.
