Ville Platte It is with great sadness that the family of Louise Reed Vidrine Lafleur, 94 annouces her passing on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Ville Platte Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery with Fr. Gene Tremie Celebrant.

A loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, Louise will be lovingly remembered by her son, Larry Vidrine and wife, Sherry of Ville Platte; a son-in-law, Clarence Rivers of Ville Platte; eight grandchildren, Victor Vidrine, Lori Vidrine Parks and husband, Scott, Steve Vidrine and wife, Renee, Julie Vidrine Press and husband, Bruce, David Vidrine and wife, Suzanne, Pam Rivers McGee and husband, Shawn, Eddie Rivers, and Katie Rivers Lanclos and husband, Willis; seventeen great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile and Myra Reed, daughter, Sis Vidrine Rivers, and two brothers, Oscar Reed and Thomas Reed.

The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, August 10, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 7:30 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.
