VILLE PLATTEIt is with great sadness that the family of Louise L. Shuff, 96, announces her passing on July 10, 2011 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 P. M., Monday, July 11, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte. Rite of Committal will follow in the Evangeline Memorial Park Cemetery. Fr. Josh Guillory will be officiating all services.
A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother Louise is survived by two sons,
Mark W. Shuff and his wife, Mary, of Ville Platte and Tony Shuff and his wife, Yvonne also of Ville Platte she also leaves behind one daughter, Mary Shuff Fontenot and husband, Nelton, of Ville Platte. Her memory will be cherished by her beloved five grandchildren and one stepgrandchild and the eight great grandchildren and two stepgreat grandchildren that she leaves behind.
Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hilton Shuff, one infant son, Carol Shuff, her dear parents, Cless and Odile Lafleur, one brother and three sisters, and two great grandchildren, Ryan Cade Dupre and Christopher James Fontenot.
At request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoins Funeral Home in Ville Platte on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 4:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. and again Monday, July 11, 2011 from 8:00 A. M. until time of services. A Rosary will recited Sunday evening at 7:00 P. M.
